In the board of directors meeting held on the third day, directorship organizations reviewed their accomplishments and areas that needs improvement for the past year, and defined their near-term objectives, i.e. continually expanding publicity, enhancing website function, standardizing the process and actively recruiting new members.
APIRA will further revise the clause on the responsibilities of the board of directors stipulated in the constitution, and discuss the readjustment plan for the joint survey questionnaire via mailing lists.
Reelected APIRA Chair Cho Chan-Hyeong noted that the Meeting was concluded successfully, and appreciated the efforts of providing excellent meeting logistic support from the organizer, MCMC. He also noted that i t was a significant achievement to conduct a joint survey by members, which will help discovering the characteristic of Internet in different countries and regions. APIRA will continually push forward the work in this aspect.
