CNNIC published the "17th Statistical Survey Report on the Internet Development in China"

'According to the 17th CNNIC statistical survey report on the Internet development in China, by Dec.31, 2005, the total number of internet users in China has reached 111million. Among which, the broad band users exceeded 64.3 million. The registration volume of .CN ccTLD names reached 1.09 million, which was doubled in just one year.

The report also showed that, China had 49.5 million computers connected to the Internet. In addition, 749.9 million IPv4 addresses were assigned to China, ranks 3rd of the world, just follows the US and Japan.
