CNNIC Hosted Asia Pacific Symposium on the Internet Statistics

The symposium was held in Beijing on September 26 to 27, 2004. China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) who is responsible for conducting the domestic survey on the Internet development hosted the two daysĄŻ meeting. This is the second symposium on the Internet statistics since last July. The major goal of the meeting is to understand current development situation of each country/region and discuss on statistical methodologies.

Besides representatives of Korea Network Information Center (KRNIC), Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC), City University of Hong Kong, University of Macau, experts from well-known domestic research institutions such as Ministry of Information Industry (MII), National Bureau of Statistics of China, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Beijing Broadcasting Institute and CCID were also invited.
