KRNIC published "2003 Internet Statistics Korea"

KRNIC published '2003 Internet Statistics Korea' to provide an at-a-glance description of Internet use in Korea.

The booklet, as with the 2001 and 2002 publications, discusses 'Internet Source', 'Internet use', 'Internet applications', 'adverse effects of the Internet' and 'Internet use in foreign countries' to describe the current status in Korea. It provides more detailed statistics regarding Internet usage in foreign countries compared with the previous statistical presentations.

It also describes diverse new Internet services including 'e-government', 'Internet banking/online stock trading', and 'PC rooms'. In addition, statistics on the adverse effects of the Internet like 'cyber crime', and 'e-commerce fraud' are contained in the booklet.

A CD, attached to the booklet, provides a web version of the statistics so that the text, graphes, and tables can be referred to and quoted easily.
