V. The Internet Survey
1. Definition
"The Internet Survey" here refers to the "the
Statistical Survey on the Internet Development in Members'
Countries or Regions".
It
is one of the obligations for member organizations holding
the Regular Member of APIRA (RMA) to conduct the joint
survey at least once in every two years. Associate Member
of APIRA (AMA) is not responsible for this, but should
at least submit one self-conducted Internet survey report
in every two years.

Survey Contents
The main contents shall be set by member organizations
through negotiation. This part is composed of 20 to
30 core questions, which shall cover main aspects of
Internet users such as their quantities, characteristics,
access modes, time and behavior. In this part, all members
shall adopt uniform questions and options. The Internet
Survey shall include, but not limited to these core
questions; all these core questions may be adjusted
on member meetings.
3.
Survey Methods
Member organizations holding the Regular Member of APIRA
(RMA) status shall conduct Telephone Surveys or Face-To-Face
Interview. Survey methods adopted by each member organization
shall be comparable.
4.
Survey Time
The closing date of the survey shall be each December
31, while the starting time can be set in accordance
with specific circumstances of each member organization.
